Who We Are
Philippine Coastal Storage & Pipeline Corporation (PCSPC) operates the petroleum storage and pipeline facilities of the former US military bases, namely Subic Bay Naval Base and Clark Air Force Base.
When the U.S. military pulled out in 1992, the Philippine Government took over and established the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and the Clark Development Corporation (CDC). The petroleum product facilities were leased out by the Government in 1993 to Coastal Subic Bay Terminal Inc. (CSBTI) for 25 years. In April 2004, PCSPC took over the lease from CSBTI and in May 2011, PCSPC was granted a lease extension of 25 years or until March 2043 with an option to renew for another 15 years.
PCSPC's 160-hectare facility in Subic Bay Freeport Zone includes marine terminal, fuel storage tank farms and tank truck loading facilities. The storage and handling facility can now hold a total of 4.6 million barrels of petroleum and petroleum-related products. Products are stored in segregated storage tanks and transported through dedicated pipeline system ensuring integrity and quality of fuels. The entire Subic facility is equipped with well-maintained safety and environmental protection equipment to include fire protection and pollution control systems.
In May 2012, PCSPC added an additional one (1) million barrels to the existing 2.4 million barrels of capacity with the construction of five (5) new above ground Diesel storage tanks in the Boton Tank Farm.
In December 2013, seven (7) new fuel storage tanks at Maritan Hill tank farm, which is located right across the POL Pier compound became fully operational, bringing the total storage capacity of PCSPC to 4.6 million barrels of petroleum and petroleum related products.
In May 2016, three (3) additional tanks were added to Maritan Hill tank farm, increasing the storage capacity to 5.2 million barrels.
